from the Inquirer

Some of my assignments for The Inquirer have been unique and powerful experiences. Some have been interesting but did not yield interesting photos. Some assignments are without journalistic interest and I wonder what the reason is for the assignment . Most of the time I have met wonderful people that it has been my priviledge to photograph. I am a strong believer in the power of the press to educate, to enlighten, and to delve deeply into the issues that are confronting the world. I hope newspapers will continue to exist and that readers will continue to demand excellence, accuracy and depth. I hope that reporting will be not only what has happened, but what might happen and why.
